Greg Critien
Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner
BVetMed GPCert(Endo) MRCVS
Greg grew up in Buckinghamshire in a house full of dogs, and studied Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, graduating in 2002.
He went on to work in mixed practice for a few years, before working solely in small animal practice from 2004. A career involving a few stints working in Australia followed, but since 2017 Greg has been working and living in West Oxfordshire, and joined the Coach House Vet team as the new practice owner in September 2025, when Mandy retired.
Greg has an interest in all aspects of Small Animal work, but particularly in ultrasound and endoscopy, in which he gained a postgraduate Certificate in 2023.
When not at work, Greg enjoys reading, running, football, snowboarding, golf, and spending time with his two young daughters and slightly bonkers collie-spaniel cross, Bram.
Marios
Veterinary Surgeon
DVM MRCVS
Marios joined the practice in May 2025.
Originally from Cyprus and having trained in Bulgaria, he has been working in the UK since qualifying in 2018. Since then Marios has worked in first opinion practice and for emergency out of hours providers. He came to locum for us in January and, like the rest of us, he liked it so much that he wanted to become part of the permanent team.
Marios has two cats and is enjoying turning the practice's garden into a mini allotment.
Holly
Registered Veterinary Nurse/Practice Manager
RVN Cert VNECC
Holly is a Registered Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager.
She has been with the practice since 2012, except for a nearly two year break to an animal hospital where she loved the intensive nursing so much that she obtained a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care in 2019.
Holly has five dogs, all working cocker spaniels! Holly enjoys the exploring the countryside and is often seen out walking or training her dogs. Holly has a keen interest in dog training, behaviour and breeding/genetics.
Holly is currently on maternity and will be back in 2026.
Lucy
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN
Lucy’s love of animals started at a very young age, her first job was at a petting farm before following her dreams and qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2013.
She has worked at two previous small animal practices before joining Coach House Vets. She returned in July 2021 to veterinary nursing after a five year break, raising her two young boys.
Outside work Lucy had five guinea pigs and a Burmese cat. Lucy recently took on a tortoise called King Arthur who is being spoilt rotten in his new enclosure and habitat. She enjoys spending time with her family going off on adventures in their campervan, visiting the wildlife park and watching her son learn to horse ride.
Rachael
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN RAMA (SQP)
Rachael started her veterinary nursing training in October 1999 and qualified in 2002. Since becoming a veterinary nurse Rachael has gone onto gain her RAMA (Registered Animal Medicine Advisor) qualification, and whilst at work she particularly enjoys the nursing clinics.
Rachael has a Birmin cat called Onima whom she got from one of our lovely clients. When not at work Rachael enjoys spending her free time with her two young boys getting closer to nature and trying out new crafts and being a member a member of the local book club.
Ellie
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN (SQP)
Ellie has been with the practice since January 2022. Previously Ellie undertook work experience at the practice in 2019 and 2020 whilst studying an animal management and welfare course which set her up to train with us and to become a registered veterinary nurse.
Ellie qualified in April 2025 and has a keen interest in anaesthesia.
Ellie has two dogs Monty and Ronnie. Ellie in her spare time enjoys going to the gym and swimming.
Reggie, Bea & Dudley
Practice Dogs
These troublesome trio are the Practice dogs who belong to Holly. They Working Cocker Spaniels who love coming to work every day for the cuddles and fuss they get from clients! They are all trained gundogs who enjoy tearing around the field and jumping in the river!

Holly also has Guinea and Jade, the newest additions but if we keep adding on her expanding brood there wouldn't be much room on the website!
